The capital of Para, Belém, will host the 30th United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP30) in November, with the participation of heads of state, diplomats, entrepreneurs, activists, investors and delegations from member countries that aims to discuss actions to combat climate change. During COP30 will be debated themes on: reduction of greenhouse gas emissions; Adaptation to climate change; Climate financing for developing countries; Renewable energy technologies and low carbon solutions; Preservation of forests and biodiversity and climate justice and the social impacts of climate change. The conference is important to expand once again the international protagonism of Brazil on the environmental agenda.
