Imaginary Ecotourism – Camping, Pousada, Day -Uuse and Events – Teresópolis, RJ, Brazil (April/2025)

If you are looking for a hosting or space for events in Teresópolis, full of nature and simplicity, this video is for you. In March 2025, we had a really cool experience camping in the imagination ecotourism. In this video, you can see the structure of the place. Following, we will address the resources available in detail. The imaginary is located in a region known as “Vale dos Frades”, in Teresópolis (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil). On the banks of the land, there is a large river, with the possibility of 3 accesses: the first, easily accessible, just in the camping area and which is ending the Poço do Caminho; the second, with a trail of about 5 minutes and leads to the imaginary waterfall; and the third, about 10 minutes and with stairs, which has the end of the imaginary beach. Each of these hits has a particular beauty and it is worth visiting all. And if this is not enough, you can also visit the famous waterfall of the friars, which is approximately 2km away). It is worth informing that the region is quite rural and there are no options close to market and restaurant. For a good experience, we advise you to take everything you eat or drink. In our stay, we stayed at camping. As far as we observe, the structure has: – Location with easy access to the river and 3 different attractions; – Central area with fire; – Bathrooms for collective use, without hot water; – External shower; – Clothing washing tank; – Barbecue (worth consulting the rules of use); – Satellite internet (in the area where there is the inn); – And probably other things more we are forgetting. Important information about our experience: – In March 2025, the value of camping was $ 50/person. – The night we slept in camping, unfortunately a good part of Teresópolis suffered energy drop. It was possible to note that the place is quite dark. Want a tip? Take lighting equipment as they will be very useful. – In addition to no hot water showers in shared bathrooms, there is no power supply structure in the camping area. – Finally, we add that it can be difficult to find camping space for tent. It is worth consulting the hosting and inform the size of your tent. We have a thatchua Arpenaz 4.1 (3m x 5m) tent and it was a challenge to find a place, after all, there was a part of cement near the background hall, but there was no way to insert the “Specs”.
