Taubaté Zoo – Selva Viva Project

Animals seized or rescued by the Environmental Military Police are taken to be treated by the Viva Selva Project in Taubaté. Most are seized, exotic and native animals and remain in place for visitation. There is a conservation program for animals that are endangered or cannot be returned to nature, remain at the site for visitation.
